Serial transmission controller manager logs data received from RS232 or RS485 devices connected to TCP/IP network via serial interface terminal servers. A Terminal Server is a device that allows RS232 or RS485 serial devices to be connected to an Ethernet network. Advanced TCP IP data logger supports unlimited number of both client and server TCP/IP connections that can be used to log data from one or more terminal servers to disk file. RS232 network monitoring software is capable of logging data received via various connections to same log file. TCP/IP network manager log programmable logic controllers PLCs transmit status or alarm messages to local file. Serial port interfacing software configure local network system connection and connect program to the terminal server and log data transmitted by serial devices directly to disk files located on PC.
