I can't tell you exactly how much time I've wasted trying to keep a handle on my stock, but it's a lot. I decided to try out iMagic Inventory in an attempt to resolve these issues and it's been an eye opener.
One of the big problems I had was the overhead in checking inventory. Before when I'd get a call I'd have to either physically go and check the stock levels or rely in memory. Which is fine unless someone else in the store had sold the last one! When it's not busy it's fine, but when the rush is on it's i-m-p-o-s-s-i-b-l-e.
With iMagic Inventory it's much easier, click Inventory, scroll to the item and it tells me the Total Stock or when I have more than one storage point I can see the stock levels in each. It's very handy and has saved a lot of time.
